Gökova Bay
On 23 July 2025, the schools of Cheilodiperus novemstriatus associated with three black longspine urchins (Diadema setosum) over a hard substrate in the shoreline of Akbük, Gökova Bay were observed during snorkeling. The depth of the substrate was recorded as 1 m. This ichthyological note presents the second record of C. novemstriatus from the southeastern Aegean Sea. Since 2010, the species has been documented in eight different locations, and ongoing westward and northward spread.
